Aktion Parks & USA-WWF Announce Grand Opening of Elite Cable Park July 13th

Aktion Parks & USA Water Ski & Wake Sports Foundation are pleased to announce the Grand Opening of Auburndale’s very own watersports park, Elite Cable Park, that will be open to the public Saturday, July 13^th.

Please join us for the Grand Opening where industry executives, local dignitaries, water sports enthusiasts, and Auburndale locals will celebrate together. Tantrums Dockside Grill, Elite Cable Park’s restaurant, will also open with a spectacular lakeside view with a wide variety of food.

Schedule

9:00 a.m. Elite Cable Park Pro Shop and Tantrums Dockside Grill open
10:00 a.m. Grand Opening Ceremony and Ribbon Cutting
11:00 a.m. Elite Cable Park fully open to the public

Throughout the day, there will be a waterslide and face painting for kids.

Elite Cable Park is a watersports park that offers cable wakeboarding, kneeboarding, water skiing, and many more water sports and will host events that feature the award-winning Nautique boats. It’s staffed with experienced coaches that provide lessons for all ages and skill levels. The ECP Pro Shop can provide all your watersports rental or purchase needs featuring Hyperlite equipment.

Elite Cable Park is a part of the new USA Water Sports Complex which will include the sport’s National & International Halls of Fame, Museum, USA Water Ski & Wake Sports Foundation and National Governing Body headquarters, rooftop garden and training center. Adding these unique water sports aspects to the city of Auburndale’s $25 million Lake Myrtle Sports Park will make it the only destination of its kind anywhere in the world.
