Exhibitor FAQS – Surf Expo September 10-12, 2020 Show Cancellation
What do I need to know about my Surf Expo September 2020 booth space and sponsorship deposits?
All exhibiting companies who have an active Exhibit Space Agreement and made a booth or sponsorship deposit for Surf Expo September 2020 will receive an email from Surf Expo Show Director, SVP Roy Turner with a link to rollover orders/funds to another 2020/2021 Surf Expo event. This email will be sent to the CONTRACT CONTACT on file for your company.
If none of the alternate event options are right for your business at this time and/or you have additional questions, you can also choose to speak with your Account Executive, and they will reach out as soon as possible to discuss all available options.
Should I cancel my flight?
We suggest that you contact your airline to discuss your options. Many airlines are offering waived change fees at this time.
What about my hotel reservation?
If your hotel reservations were booked through our official housing provider onPeak and through the hotel booking link on the show website, your reservations will be automatically cancelled at no charge or penalty to you. You will receive a cancellation email confirmation from onPeak. No other follow up will be necessary. (Note that all reservations will be cancelled. Therefore, if you want to make other arrangements, you will have to make a direct reservation.) If you made a hotel reservation outside of our hotel block (directly with the hotel or through booking providers unaffiliated with Surf Expo), you will need to cancel your reservation on your own.
What are future dates for the Surf Expo?
Surf Expo’s next live, in-person show is scheduled for January 6-8, 2021 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando Florida.
Will there be any opportunities to connect with my buyers through Surf Expo this year?
Yes! Since we can’t meet in-person this summer, we’re creating a virtual space for our communities to connect, conduct business, network and learn. This online space allows for a reimagined sales season to support your business, and help you stay connected with retailers this summer. The virtual event, Surf Expo Connect, will take place September 16-18, 2020.
You’ll be able to host the industry in your virtual booth, showcasing your product lines and news and more on your own customizable page. Retailers and media will be able to search and discover your current inventory, upcoming for fall/winter, and new for spring/summer 2021.
